Course Instructors

Dan Cohen and Greg Pool—both seasoned entrepreneurs have founded, grown, and successfully exited startups.


In addition to the internal coaching received in the class, Startup Lab brings in several accomplished entrepreneurs, context experts, legal and business professionals to equip selected students with all the tools they need to launch their venture.

Notable success stories include UpDog Kombucha (now being sold throughout North Carolina and generating hundreds of thousands in revenue), The Resilience Project (a social venture generated over $100,000 in revenue and raised thousands in support for cancer patients and their families) and SimpullCork an valuable idea poised to disrupt the multi-billion dollar wine industry.
